BUILD · IMPROVE · MAINTAIN01 / SPRING SERVICE
THE SPRING RESET / 01

Spring yard cleanup, power raking and aeration.

A proper spring cleanup addresses the lawn and the winter debris around it. JPPM’s standard service combines power raking, core aeration, leaf and seasonal debris cleanup, a lawn cut and trimming. Two disposal bags are included.

We serve St. Albert, all west Edmonton and north Edmonton west of 97 Street with a separately quoted spring visit. Spring Cleanup is not included in Weekly or Biweekly Lawn Mowing. Your approved quote identifies the property areas, price and any additional work; the Spring Cleanup Terms supplied with it set the full service conditions.

WHAT THE STANDARD SERVICE COVERS / 02

What standard Spring Cleanup includes.

01

Power raking

Remove loose dead grass and thatch from suitable lawn areas. Wet ground, new sod or weakened turf may require the work to be adjusted or omitted in affected areas.

02

Core aeration

Aerate accessible lawn areas where conditions allow. Mark private shallow features such as irrigation heads, invisible fencing and landscape wiring before the visit.

03

Leaves & seasonal debris

Clean ordinary winter debris from lawns and hard surfaces, and blow reasonably accessible loose surface debris from garden beds. This is not detailed hand-cleaning around every plant.

04

First cut & trimming

Cut and trim the lawn as part of the spring visit, with timing guided by snowmelt, growth and ground conditions.

05

Bagging & disposal

Two standard 55-gallon contractor bags are included. Additional disposal bags are $4.00 each, with the final arrangements confirmed in your quote.

A BETTER START TO THE SEASON / 03

One visit that makes ongoing care easier.

Spring cleanup is most useful when the property is ready for equipment and the growing season is beginning. Clearing leaves and matted seasonal material makes the lawn and bed edges easier to see. The first cut and trim bring the property back into regular care, whether you plan to mow yourself or continue with a weekly mowing program.

Once loose material is cleared, it is easier to see which areas need attention. If your lawn needs sod replacement or your beds need restoration, we can discuss those improvements alongside your ongoing property plan.

The goal is a visibly clean property and a practical starting point for regular mowing and garden maintenance.

QUOTING & DISPOSAL / 04

Spring Cleanup inclusions, disposal and extra work.

Spring Cleanup is usually quoted remotely using property size, available information and what you tell us about the yard. The standard flat-rate quote assumes ordinary annual care and a typical amount of seasonal debris. Please flag unusually heavy leaves, multiple seasons of buildup, neglected beds, branches, garbage or significant pet waste when requesting your quote.

Normal variation in leaves and debris is expected. If the yard needs a larger reset, we will discuss a suitable scope and obtain your approval for additional work beyond the charges already disclosed. Photos of heavier buildup help us prepare an accurate quote.

Dedicated pine needle or pine cone removal, large branches, animal waste, construction material, soil and rock are outside standard seasonal debris cleanup. Garden-bed weeding, pruning, perennial cutback and detailed hand-cleaning are also separate services. We can quote appropriate add-ons where available.

Your quote confirms pricing, applicable GST and disposal rates. The Spring Cleanup Terms & Conditions contain the full service conditions.

SCHEDULING IN ALBERTA / 05

When the ground is ready, we can do the work properly.

Please tell us when your property is substantially free of snow and the lawn and service areas have dried enough for foot traffic and equipment. That readiness notice helps us plan efficient routes around the properties that are ready for work.

Spring Cleanup is generally scheduled from April through May 31 as conditions allow. Waiting for snowmelt and suitable ground helps the crew work effectively without unnecessary traffic on a wet lawn. We provide advance notice when practical and keep you informed if conditions change the plan.

BEFORE WE ARRIVE / 06

Help the crew reach the whole property.

You do not need to be home. Once your quote is approved, we may attend when your property is reached on the route and conditions allow.

A clear, accessible yard helps the crew complete the agreed areas in one coordinated visit.

QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING / 07

Spring Cleanup, clearly explained.

Is Spring Cleanup included with weekly lawn mowing?

No. It is always quoted and priced separately unless your approved quote specifically says otherwise. Weekly mowing follows its own seasonal program.

Are garden beds hand-cleaned and weeded?

Standard cleanup blows and removes reasonably accessible loose leaves and seasonal surface debris from beds. Detailed hand-cleaning, weeding, pruning, perennial cutback and restoration of overgrown beds need a separate scope.

What happens if there is more debris than expected?

Two disposal bags are included; additional disposal bags are $4.00 each. Normal variation is expected. A substantially neglected or excessive property may need revised pricing and your authorization before additional work proceeds.

Can I choose an exact cleanup date?

We route work by area and by property readiness, weather and crew availability. Let us know when the snow is gone and the ground has dried. We make reasonable efforts to notify you before service, but a requested date is not guaranteed unless JPPM expressly confirms it.

When should I request Spring Cleanup?

Request your quote before the spring rush, then let us know when the snow is gone and the ground has dried. This helps us include your property in seasonal route planning.

What if I notice a concern after the visit?

Contact us promptly and include photos where possible. We can review the finished areas and discuss your concern while the condition of the property is still easy to assess.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT START

A lawn refresh
or a full garden reset?

Choose standard Spring Cleanup for ordinary seasonal debris and lawn preparation. Choose additional garden-bed work when the yard needs hand weeding, pruning or restoration.

Photographs of heavy buildup help distinguish routine annual cleanup from a larger reset.

PRICING / YOUR PROPERTY

Spring Cleanup
starting at $199.99.

Standard Spring Cleanup starts at $199.99 for suitable properties receiving ordinary annual care. Power raking, core aeration, seasonal debris cleanup, the lawn cut and trimming follow the agreed scope and suitable ground conditions.

Two disposal bags are included. Additional disposal bags are $4.00 each. Unusual buildup, neglected areas and detailed garden work may need additional approved work. Spring Cleanup is separately quoted from lawn mowing.

Published starting prices and minimum charges are subject to property size, layout, access, difficulty, condition and the work requested. Larger or more demanding properties, heavier buildup, additional areas and changes to the agreed scope may cost more. Your written quote confirms the final price, inclusions, disposal and applicable GST before approval.
