THE FINISHING LINE / 01

Small detail. Major visual difference.

Landscape borders form some of the most visible lines on a property. Decorative concrete curbing creates a substantial, continuous transition between turf and planting, rock or mulch. It can make a renovated front yard feel more deliberate and an established garden feel newly finished.

JPPM can incorporate professional concrete curbing into a new landscape project or coordinate it as an upgrade to an existing property. Specialist installation is coordinated alongside the surrounding landscape work, with the exact scope and installer-specific care terms set out during quotation.

WHERE IT WORKS / 02

One line through the whole property.

01

Garden beds

A defined separation between planted areas and lawn, from a simple front entrance to a larger garden composition.

02

Decorative rock & mulch

A continuous edge can help contain loose material while giving the installation a cleaner perimeter.

03

Trees & landscape features

Where the layout permits, the border can frame a tree or other feature and connect it visually with the rest of the yard.

04

Complete landscape renovations

Coordinate the edge with grading, sod, planting, rock and bed construction so the final lines read as one project.

CURB APPEAL / 03

An upgrade you see across the property.

Professionally finished landscaping can strengthen curb appeal and the way a property presents to visitors or buyers. The curbing itself is a detail, but it can pull beds, turf and hard surfaces into a more cohesive composition. We do not assign a guaranteed resale return to a single landscape feature.

CHOOSING THE BORDER / 04

Why choose concrete?

01

Flexible edging

A practical, economical way to separate materials on many projects.

02

Block or stone edging

A substantial border with varied material and installation choices.

Each system has a place. Concrete is especially suitable when the border should be a visible finishing feature, not simply a hidden separator.

MAKE IT YOURS / 05

Profile. Texture. Colour.

Browse the current options, then make a final selection with the installation specialist during quotation. The examples below are supplier references, not photographs of JPPM installations.

01 / PROFILE

Choose the shape.

SQUARE

A stronger architectural line.

A substantial, clean-edged profile suited to straight sections. The current specialist specification does not allow square curbing on curves or circles.

SLANT

Definition with a softer edge.

An angled profile that can follow many garden layouts, including curves where site conditions and the selected finish permit.

02 / STAMP

Choose the surface.

Six standard stamped textures are shown from the supplied product examples. The final pattern and profile combination is confirmed in the quote.

PREMIUM FINISH

Premium Natural Stone

A more pronounced stone-like texture for a landscape border intended to stand out. Availability, profile and final appearance are confirmed before ordering.

03 / COLOUR

Choose a colour family.

Grey, Earth Brown, Terra Cotta and Red each have six shown shade levels. Pigment is mixed through the concrete; some decorative finishes may also use a release colour to add depth and define texture.

ONE COHESIVE PROJECT / 06

Building more than the border?

Curbing can be planned with excavation, grading, sod replacement, decorative rock, mulch, planting and garden bed construction. Considering the border early helps the finished lines and work sequence make sense together. We can also discuss curbing on an existing landscape where preparation and access permit it.

The proposal should identify the length and layout, any sod removal or ground preparation, the selected profile and finish, specialist installation, care instructions and applicable warranty. Fresh concrete needs protection during curing; weather and site conditions affect scheduling. Concrete can crack or vary in colour over time, so the actual partner terms matter.

THE QUOTE / 07

Priced for the property and the finish.

Linear footage is only one part of a curbing quote. Layout, access, sod removal, disposal, preparation, reinforcement, profile, stamped finish and surrounding landscape work can all affect the final scope. JPPM will quote the complete customer-facing project; another installer's published price list is not JPPM pricing.

GOOD TO KNOW / 08

Questions before you choose.

What is decorative concrete landscape curbing?

It is continuous concrete edging installed to define a landscaped area. Profiles, textures and colours let the border contribute to the overall look of the yard.

Can curbing be added to an existing yard?

Often, yes. We review the proposed line, access, existing turf and beds, preparation and partner availability before confirming a scope.

Can I choose the colour and stamp?

Yes, subject to current availability and a compatible profile. Website samples are a guide; final concrete colour may differ from a screen or sample.

Does concrete curbing increase property value?

It can strengthen the presentation and curb appeal of a well-kept landscape. Any resale outcome depends on the complete property and market, so we do not promise a specific increase.

Will it eliminate trimming or maintenance?

No. A defined border can create a clearer mowing and trimming line and help contain mulch or rock, but routine care and periodic concrete maintenance may still be needed.

Who completes the specialty installation?

JPPM coordinates it with a professional curbing specialist. The accepted proposal identifies the responsible parties and the installer-specific care and warranty information.

DEFINE THE LINE

Choose the profile
with the whole garden.

Choose profile, texture and colour together. Square curbing is specified for straight sections; compatible curved layouts can be discussed with the slant profile.

Screen colours are references; confirm the finish and availability before approval. Coordinate curbing with new sod, planting or rock to avoid disturbing completed work.

Project pricing depends on property size, site conditions, access, materials and the agreed scope. Changes to materials or work may change the price. Your quote confirms inclusions, disposal and applicable GST before work begins.

Do I need to replace the beds to add curbing?

Not necessarily. An existing garden can be assessed for a border upgrade, with any turf removal, preparation and restoration identified.

Is curbing a retaining wall?

Decorative edging and a retaining wall serve different purposes. A change in grade that needs retaining should be assessed as its own wall project.
